Our other excitement was witnessing our munchkin pulling his knees underneath him and try to scoot towards an empty water bottle (this was after tiring of the activity table...onto the "ever-so-cheap" toy of an empty bottle!). Yes, it appears that this is the motivation that he needed...an empty bottle, not a cool musical toy or a ball or even mom or dad but an empty bottle! Anyway, here are some pictures from that (not that we actually caught him "scooting").
It is truly amazing to watch a child put all of this together and start to develop a "moving forward" pattern. He also discovered how to consistently put a ball in a ball machine and say "mama!" Yes, he is now saying "mama" and "mom." Not that they are directed toward me, but the sound is consistently there! All this wrapped into celebrating our 6th year anniversary on Saturday! It was a milestone weekend!!

Our nephew is so darn cute! I see the new teeth you were talking about - he is growing up soo fast! We wish we could be there to see all of these new milestones, but the blog certainly helps us "experience" them with you! Hugs to all three of you :)
Isn't it amazing how fast they grow and change?
Happy Anniversary! I am so excited to see Jackson starting to crawl. He will be off in no time. (Hi Cody!)
