Rewind... back to February. We took Jackson to see the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL. Something I had been wanting to do for a while, and since he had been asking a ton of questions about space (mainly because they were doing a unit on Space in school), we decided it was the perfect time.
(I really enjoyed using my new camera too...I had just gotten the lens not too much sooner than our trip. My poor boys posed like crazy as I tried to capture the perfect pictures!)
A treat at the hotel at night.
We landed on the moon!
Love this picture of them walking in the massive display room!
Jackson said he was being Darth Vader here.
And, then, Jackson was invited to a Young Author's Conference for selected students of Prattville school system. He had to write his own story and share it to his peers. So proud of him!
And then Jackson's first baseball game here, which I posted about earlier, but here's a picture of him just because I think it's a cute picture...
March brought Jackson's Easter Party at school and Easter Sunday.
It also brought Spring Break for him and Cody. We took this opportunity to go relax on the beach for a few days. We spent the time at Navarre Beach in Florida. Nevermind, that the weather was a wopping 58 degrees as a high most of the days we were there!! We still enjoyed the beach all wrapped up in sweatshirts!
Then, I had a birthday! I turned 37 years old, although my sweet son seemed to think I should be 40! Not sure how to take that.
I leave you with one more baseball picture. Need I say that baseball is a big part of our lives right now? Glad we all like it!!
For those of you who don't know, we have gotten our assignment out of here. We are heading to Seoul, Korea in July! Another adventure that will certainly (hopefully) keep me on top of this blog better!! (I seem to do a better job when we live overseas!) We are excited about the 2 year adventure that awaits us there.
