Talkin' Jackson

This past Thursday, we took a 6 hour (one way) road trip to go check our mail (our American mail box...long story). Anyway, this is the second time that we have done that with Jackson. We stayed in a lovely hotel and discovered that Jackson can watch the same Elmo dvd four times and be perfectly content in the backseat...thank goodness for Elmo's World!! Jackson has gotten to the point in his little life, that he does and says the funniest things! Two instances of this happened on our way home yesterday. He was in the midst of a three hour nap (which was heavenly for us, as that was half the trip!!), and all of a sudden, he wakes up, says "Gup" (which is his little orange puppy that is his security that must go with us everywhere!) and then goes back to sleep...snoring!! We had a great laugh about this for several minutes! The other instance was about an hour and a half before we were home. Jackson was calmly enjoying Elmo and then all of a sudden we hear, "Out. All done." as he reaches toward the car door (which, of course he cannot reach). Apparently, he was done with the trip! We explained that we had a little while left and we were not all done yet. He went back to watching Elmo. What a joy he is!
