Christmas at the Castle

At Christmas time, most of the castles here are decorated and many of them have special Christmas events. Yesterday afternoon, we traveled down to Stirling, Scotland and Stirling Castle to go see Santa Claus. Jackson enjoyed the visit with Santa...he was quiet and smiled, but did not cry (which is a HUGE change from last year!).

He couldn't stop talking about seeing Santa Claus and the chocolate that Santa gave him...that Jackson managed to consume in about 2 minutes flat...THE WHOLE CHOCOLATE BAR!!

This Victorian Santa also did magic tricks...he truly is a "Magical" Santa!

There were also the "Swingin' Santas" playing their saxophones, guitars and keyboards and singing Christmas carols in the Great Hall of the castle.

We had a fun time yesterday, celebrating the season.

How fun and novel. Jackson sure looks like a big boy with his hair combed over.
