Out of the Mouths of Babes

Jackson said the most wonderful thing last night at the dinner table. He was sitting there quietly eating while Cody and I talked, and then, when there was a lull in the conversation, he said: "Jesus loves me Bible." Cody said, "That's right. Jesus does love you. It says that in the Bible." And then we both smiled and were completely amazed at what he had comprehended and said. Then, Jackson responds again, "Mommy King Kong!" (Well, at least that's what it sounded like!) And we started rolling in laughter! I agreed..."Mommy is King Kong. Is Daddy King Kong?" And Jackson, "Daddy King Kong." We have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA where he got this!! We all had a great laugh. But, it didn't end there! After about 10 more minutes of dinner, Cody and I took off the tray for Jackson's booster seat and started picking up the noodles that had fallen into his lap on his jeans. We told him he had made a mess. He looked up at me and asked, "Vaccuum pants??" OH MY!!! So funny...again!! He was a hoot last night at dinner! If only every dinner could be so full of laughter...it was a great time!!
